About The Role: We are looking for a suitably experienced Credit Controller to join the accounts team at our Head Office in Mytholmroyd (near Hebden Bridge), where you will be an integral part of the finance function helping to provide suitable controls for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing the daily sales batches on the 'Service' system
- Transfer of daily sales invoices onto the finance system
- Process key account monthly invoicing and supporting documentation
- Distribution of sales invoices as required
- Setting up new customers in an efficient manner including background and credit checks
- Liaising with other areas of the business to ensure customers' requests are catered for to deliver excellent customer service
- Record, research and resolve invoice queries efficiently
- Arrange credit notes or refunds approval (where applicable)
- Building relationships with customers to ensure issues are resolved appropriately
- Distribution of account statements and dunning letters as appropriate
- Liaising with external debt collectors if appropriate
- Other ad-hoc duties necessary to support the Finance Director and the finance team
Key Performance Indicators:
- Number of days taken to resolve customer issues
- Debtor Days
- Value of outstanding debts over 60 days old
About you:
- Suitable experience of working within Credit Control or a similar role

- Competent in MS packages, especially Excel
