Weâre Gemba â a fast-moving enterprise training company on a mission to make boring training a thing of the past. Our Newcastle team is small, collaborative and hands-on. Weâre only small, but weâre working with some of the worldâs biggest companies, creating immersive training.
About the Role
Weâre looking for a Junior QA Tester with a creative spark to join us for a fixed term maternity contract until January 2027. We need someone whoâs eager, switched-on, and ready to get up to speed quickly.
The Mission
- QA Testing: Test our VR platform and experiences to ensure they are bug-free. Youâll spend a lot of your day inside a VR headset.
- Bug Hunting: Log, track, and retest bugs using structured plans.
- Creative Destruction: Think outside the box to try and âbreakâ the build.
- Collaboration: Work right next to developers and artists to polish the product.
- A Clear Communicator: There is no point finding a bug if you canât explain the issue. Youâll need to be able to describe problems clearly to developers so they can fix them fast.
The âWildcardâ (Your Bonus Power)
Weâd love someone who brings a little something extra to the table. This doesnât need to be professional-level experienceâjust a hobby or passion you want to develop. This could be:
- Animation
- Basic coding or Unity experience
- Technical artist
