We are looking for a Tool & Plant Hire Coordinator to assist the management team in the day to day requirements of a busy hire / sales depot. working across multiple hire / sales sectors including plant, tools, powered access and generators.
Duties of the Hire Coordinator to include
- Providing a high level of service to our customers, ensuring we can provide the right tool or plant for their project
- Providing a proactive approach to upselling and increasing sales
- Liaising internally with our other depot to ensure adequate spread of equipment
- Managing the day book and logistics to ensure a smooth working day
- Help to increase our customer base and revenue by being proactive in bringing in new prospective customer and maintaining good relationships with existing customers.
To be successful within the role of Hire Coordinator , you may have previously worked in positions such as a Trade Counter Assistant, Trade Counter Supervisor, Customer Service Executive, Hire Desk Controller, Internal Sales, Rental Manager or Sales Coordinator.
The ideal person will need to maintain and grow the current potential of the sales and hire side of the business working with management on promotions and special offers.
Ideally suited to someone with an outgoing personality who gets on well with others.
Some basic computer skills and previous sales experience would be useful.
Product knowledge is of a advantage and training would be ongoing along with use of our computer systems.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday – 7.30am to 5.00 pm
Friday – 7.30am – 5.30pm
Salary: depending on experience
Experience:
- Trade Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Hire sales 1 year (Preferred)
- Have practical experience / knowledge of some or all of our product range
- Be self motivated and have a can-do attitude
- Have previous experience in dealing with customers
- Have previous experience in selling technical products to customer
