We are now looking to recruit a Gas Engineer to our team at GEM Solutions. We are a property development and maintenance company based in Bath. The job will involve working on both the planned and reactive side of the business and also on a vast portfolio of properties we look after. We are looking for an individual who has extreme attention to detail and enjoys diversity.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly with senior management to fully understand job requirements
  • Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed to provide estimations
  • Install, modify, inspect, test all types of gas and plumbing installations
  • Inspect places and conduct repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Full basic domestic gas qualifications
  • Experience of servicing, breakdowns and installations will be required
  • Excellent communication skills with all team members and clients alike
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Full driving licence
  • Can do attitude towards tasks
  • Able to make quick decisions under own initiative with an appreciation for commercial consequences
  • Excellent understanding of plumbing techniques and methods of installation and construction
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
