With a strong order book and robust pipeline of business opportunities, the new owners have already committed to significant CAPEX investment into the North East operation. This represents an exciting opportunity to join a newly established UK operation at the start of a major investment programme that will transform the long-term prospects of both the site and the wider business.
As part of a ramp up across their Operations and Engineering functions, the successful candidate will become part of a progressive organisation committed to delivering complex projects for major international clients around the world. The Role:
- Very much a hands-on role, responsible for leading electrical engineering and maintenance activities across a complex manufacturing facility running multiple shifts.
- Overseeing the development, testing, improvement and maintenance of complex manufacturing processes, infrastructure and services.
- Utilising modern diagnostic technologies to ensure that the productive capability of the plant is optimised and improved over time.
- Leading the electrical engineering contribution to infrastructure projects.
The Person:
- Candidates should ideally be degree qualified Electrical Engineers, with significant post graduate industrial experience 10 years+, in a relevant heavy engineering / manufacturing environment.
- Candidates who progressed via apprenticeship into Electrical Engineering would also be considered assuming HND level qualifications and appropriate technical and leadership experience has been gained.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and leadership qualities.
- Extensive experience of collaborating widely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
