Our client, a well-established and leading nationally focused engineering building services organisation, is currently looking to appoint an experienced electrical engineer to support the successful delivery of electrical engineering services projects across a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, historic, education, and leisure, within both public and private domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of electrical design solutions and technical innovation.
- Communicating design strategies to the client and wider project team.
- Aiding and assisting graduates/apprentices.
- Increasing the performance of the developing project team.
- Lead and deliver electrical engineering design packages.
- Manage projects from concept to completion.
- Act as main point of contact for clients and design partners.
- Produce high quality reports, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
- Coordinate with internal MEP, BIM, and sustainability colleagues.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and sustainability requirements.
The Person:
- Degree qualified with 6-8+ years in building services consultancy.
- Strong command of BS standards, CIBSE guidance, Part L, etc.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver multi-sector projects.
- Client-facing experience essential.
- Desirable: chartership (or working towards), experience in low carbon design, performance engineering or BIM.
