My client is a rapidly growing global organisation offering a range of services to the Professional Services sector. We are delighted to support them with the recruitment of a Senior Finance Billing Administrator to join their high calibre Finance team.

The Role

  • You will be part of the Billing team looking after client billing across their professional services business.
  • Responsible for raising client invoices and credit notes and ensuring billing queries are responded to in a timely way.
  • Raise annual and ad-hoc invoices on BQE Core and Sage Intacct throughout the month.
  • Respond to billing queries received from external audiences and escalate any issues or complaints to the Billing Team Leader.
  • Identify and flag process improvements.
  • Support the credit control process as required.

The Person

  • Previous experience in a billing/invoicing role either as part of a broader Finance role or a dedicated mandate.
  • Consideration will be given to someone at the earlier stages of their career and seeking to develop or someone with more experience who is looking for their next role.
  • Comfortable communicating to internal and external audiences and able to ‘challenge’ in the correct way.
  • Independent thinker, proactive problem-solver and able to ask for help when needed.
  • Able to say ‘no’ if needs be to ensure expectations of senior stakeholders are not mismanaged.
  • Resilience, willingness to listen, learn and incorporate feedback.
  • Diligent, analytical with excellent attention to detail without loss of pace.
  • Study support for AAT or a further professional qualification will be supported.

The role is based in their Manchester office, offering hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home once you are up-to-speed. This is a fantastic opportunity offering clear routes for personal development and career progression.
