My client is a rapidly growing listed international organisation offering a range of solutions to the global Financial & Professional Services sector. As part of their exciting growth plans, a Senior opportunity exists to join one of their independent key business entities in a specialist Pension Trustee role, a key appointment as they continue to pursue market share expansion.
You will support in the delivery of professional outsourced Pension Trustee Services, developing a portfolio of pension scheme trusteeships over time and taking day-to-day responsibility for those schemes in your portfolio. Business development will form part of the role, with support to win new clients.
In addition, you would work alongside and support other colleagues delivering pension scheme consultative and advisory services, such as buy-ins and other transaction services, funding, liability management projects, corporate restructurings and service reviews.
We are looking to talk to experienced Pension Professionals who are looking to pursue a long-term career as Professional Trustee, with progression to full Trustee Director level likely to take 3 - 6 years depending on experience and individual circumstances.
The Person:
Candidates should be high-caliber professionals with extensive experience gained within the Pension industry, ideally either in a legal, actuarial or existing trustee context. Strong experience in all types of occupational pension schemes and deep knowledge of the pensions marketplace more generally here in the UK is essential for success in the role, coupled with the gravitas to operate at board level, high standards of professionalism and integrity, and an ability to lead on client-related matters independently over time.
