We are currently working with a client based in Jarrow who are experiencing exciting growth in their busy Manufacturing business, we have a role available for a Press Production Operative to join their team immediately reporting into the Process Team leader. This is a great opportunity for people in the local areas to join a company going through an exciting period of expansion. The Role will be to carry out the Pressing of the product within the required specifications and timescales. Call us today for a confidential chat!
Duties
Completing assigned pressing work within specifications and timescales
Follow equipment safety checklists where applicable
Changing machine tooling following work instructions
Completing relevant production paperwork correctly
Helping to reduce scrap generation
Implementing and carrying out 5s improvements with your process
Maintaining a Safe and Tidy Workplace
Follow procedures and work instructions related to the Company Management System
Ensure compliance to the Health & Safety rules, Company rules and regulations

Location: Jarrow
Hours of work: 3 on 3 off Days/Nights rotational 6 – 6
Rates of pay:
12 weeks plus -£15.95p/h
