Job role: Patient Care Advisor

Salary: Β£12.21 per hour

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (NE12)

The Role

Our client is a community healthcare provider who is dedicated to improving everyone\’s wellbeing by making healthcare better. They currently seek a number of Patient Care Advisors (PCAs) to handle calls and emails, book appointments, and guide patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions through their care journey. The PCAs will work onsite at their Newcastle location for 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm). These roles are offered on a temp to perm basis, with successful candidates typically being given the opportunity to transfer to permanent staff after 12 weeks (subject to satisfactory performance).

The start dates for these roles are 5th or 12th January 2026. You must be able to start on one of these dates.

The Person

  • Warm, friendly, and professional
  • Strong telephone customer service experience, ideally in a contact centre environment
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Flexible, positive, and empathetic attitude
  • Ability to work Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm
