Salary: Over 40,000 including Shift Allowance + Excellent Benefits

Shift Pattern: Day/Night Shifts rotational (no weekends)

Responsibilities

  • Provide first line mechanical support to their manufacturing areas to ensure maximum availability of mechanical equipment on site minimising down time.
  • Ensure that any deficiencies found are repaired appropriately and that repairs are robust enough to prevent a recurrence.
  • Execute planned maintenance tasks effectively, working through the task schedule in order of priority.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to plant systems.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical apprenticeship ideally gained within an industrial environment.
  • Background in heavy engineering / manufacturing.
  • PPM and reactive maintenance experience across a broad range of mechanical equipment.
  • Systematic problem‑solving approach and ability to understand when and how to ask for support.
  • Experience of working effectively within a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to articulate effectively with individuals at all levels on site.
  • Sound level of computer literacy.
  • Flexible approach to workload, welcoming of personal development opportunities and active involvement in continuous improvement activities.
