My client is a boutique contemporary e-commerce lifestyle brand seeking to accelerate growth in a number of markets across the globe, including the UK, US and Asia. The Head of Growth - eCommerce will be a strategic yet hands-on individual who will own and scale their customer acquisition and retention engine.

You’ll work closely with their Creative Strategists and Creative team to drive growth through performance marketing, testing, and data-led decision-making, responsible for the performance of their paid social spend. While execution support is in place, you’ll need to know your way around Meta and TikTok Ads Manager — not just for oversight, but for quick optimizations, audits, and performance troubleshooting when needed. This isn’t a hands-off role. You will understand how the platforms work at a technical level, spot inefficiencies or missed opportunities, and know what levers to pull when performance dips.

If you live and breathe performance marketing, rapid experimentation, and full-funnel growth strategy, this one’s for you.

The Role:

  • Oversee paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Google, and Pinterest, working alongside their Creative Strategists and Influencer & Partnerships Manager
  • Own and lead the creative strategy: identify winning angles, develop testing frameworks, and collaborate with UGC, Content, and Editing teams to launch new ads
  • Analyze performance data and turn insights into actionable next steps across the full funnel
  • Improve key metrics across CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention, conversion rate, and AOV
  • Manage creative testing roadmaps and campaign experiments
  • Collaborate with the e-mail, landing page, and Customer Experience teams to optimize the entire journey
  • Report performance and learnings to the leadership team weekly
  • Build and manage freelance or internal contributors as needed

The Candidate:

  • 7 years of experience in growth or performance marketing for a DTC or e-commerce brand
  • Worked within high-growth digital brands, ideally within retail, lifestyle, fashion or home sectors
  • Strong working knowledge of Meta, TikTok, Google and Pinterest ads manager — you don’t need to be executing everything, but you can jump in confidently to spot issues or guide improvements
  • Experience scaling a brand from low to mid 7 figures to £10m in revenue
  • A clear appreciation of the SME business sector and the nuances of working within such an environment, with comfort operating in a fast growing, rapidly evolving environment
  • Deep understanding of creative strategy and what makes an ad perform — from hook to format to iteration
  • Ability to lead and systemize a performance creative testing process
  • Data-driven mindset with experience of using tools like GA4, Triple Whale, Motion, or Northbeam
  • Proven ability to scale paid acquisition while maintaining healthy CAC:LTV
  • Experience running A/B tests, analyzing results, and iterating quickly
  • Built or managed a small growth team or freelance network
  • Motivated by the opportunity to create and execute their strategy end-to-end and grow their existing team as your impact is felt.

The package will be tailored around the appointed individual and is intended to attract and retain leading talent, with the future incentive of equity once your impact has been demonstrated. This role offers high autonomy, ownership, and freedom to experiment in a high-performance, data-driven culture that moves quickly and rewards results. The role is fully remote and offers flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
