My client is a rapidly growing Main Market international organisation offering a range of solutions to the global Financial and Professional Services sectors. After trebling revenue across the past 3 years and building on stellar growth in 2025, as part of their exciting plans they are recruiting for a Strategic Relationship Director for one of their independent key business entities.

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will lead the development and management of strategic relationships with law firms that drive referral business, while also proactively developing new relationships from scratch in line with their business strategy to accelerate growth and sales performance.

The Role

  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with law firms to generate referrals identifying and engaging decision-makers and influencers.
  • Leverage existing relationships with law firms, manage key software partnerships, and oversee a critical partnership that promotes their offering to global clients, ensuring alignment of offerings and delivering joint value propositions.
  • Manage relationships with key software partners to integrate services into their offerings, collaborating on joint initiatives to expand reach and referral opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and establish new strategic relationships aligned with their growth strategy, creating compelling propositions to attract them and accelerate revenue generation.
  • Maintain regular contact with all strategic referrers through face-to-face and virtual meetings.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align strategies with overall business objectives, providing feedback from referrers to inform service development and marketing initiatives.

The Person

  • The role is suited to an individual with significant experience from the legal or professional services arena, with a strong understanding of relationship dynamics in these sectors and significant experience at senior level engaging with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation and achieving ambitious growth targets.
  • Experience managing international strategic relationships and navigating cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a relationship-driven role.
