My client is a rapidly growing business who provide SaaS software solutions to organisations across the UK. An opportunity exists to join this Bristol-based business as a Brand & Motion Designer, a role ideally suited to a mid-weight Graphic Designer.
As their first in-house design hire, you will define the standards, templates, and brand system they scale from. This role is a hybrid of brand systems and motion production, focusing on strengthening their visual identity through static and motion creative across all channels. You will be measured on impact - the core objective is to level up the brand, support campaigns with high-quality assets, and deliver product explainers that improve customer retention and engagement. You’ll bring current best practice and emerging trends in design, motion and channel formats, turning them into measurable wins.
The Role
- Brand System: Transform outdated PDF guidelines into a living Figma brand system (foundations, components, tokens, and motion rules) and a downloadable brand kit.
- Motion & Video: Produce customer testimonials, product explainers/how-tos, motion graphics, screen-capture sequences, lower thirds, titles, captions/subtitles, and light colour/audio polish; create social cut-downs. Handle initial concept and storyboarding through to final delivery.
- Digital Design: Design for web, email, paid social, sales one-pagers, and campaign landing pages; maintain consistency and accessibility across all formats.
- Commercial Impact: Align creative outputs to campaign goals and performance metrics, including completion rates, CTR, and watch time.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales and Customer Success; present work with a clear rationale and manage feedback from senior stakeholders.
- Project Management: Plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining craft standards.
The Person
- Experience: 3+ years in B2B agency, brand, or freelance settings (SaaS experience essential).
- The Stack: Proficiency in Figma, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Craft: Strong understanding of storyboarding, typography, branding, accessibility, and delivery specs.
- Impact: Commercially driven and outcome-focused, everything you deliver is tied to a clear goal (conversion, engagement, adoption) and informed by data.
- Mindset: Ability to iterate creative based on audience data and channel requirements.
- Communication: Confident presenter who can explain design choices and influence peers and leadership.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation at an exciting time with genuine opportunities for career development. The role is remote-based, although you will be required to travel to their Bristol HQ for occasional team meetings.
