The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of the admin-heavy but commercially important parts of the sales process. A big part of the role will be managing tender submissions, bid responses and client questionnaires. That means gathering information from across the business, drafting high-quality responses, keeping everything on track, and building a reusable library of answers and documents so we can move faster in future. Utilising AI to make the process as efficient as possible is a must!
You’ll also support the sales team with HubSpot, reporting, data quality, renewals, extensions, downgrades and other sales admin tasks that keep the commercial engine running smoothly. Our client are especially interested in someone who is curious about AI and keen to use it to improve how bids, documentation and sales processes are managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate tender submissions, bid responses and procurement questionnaires.
- Draft clear, accurate and professional answers to client questions.
- Gather input from internal teams on product, technical, security and commercial topics.
- Build and maintain a reusable library of bid content, answers and supporting documents.
- Support the sales team with security questionnaires and late-stage client requests.
- Use AI tools to improve speed, consistency and quality.
- Manage renewals, extensions and downgrades for smaller or non-target accounts.
- Support HubSpot admin, data quality, reports and dashboards.
- Help improve sales processes, documentation and CRM workflows.
- Keep commercial admin organised, accurate and moving.
About You
- Have experience in sales admin, bid support, tender coordination, commercial operations or CRM support.
- Write clearly and pay close attention to detail.
- Enjoy organising information, documents and processes.
- Experience in the construction or ConTech sector.
- Are confident using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
- Can manage deadlines without needing constant chasing.
- Are comfortable speaking to different teams to get the information you need.
- Are curious about AI, automation and smarter ways of working.
- Take ownership and like making things run better.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent bids and tight deadlines.
- Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of pricing, value articulation, and competitive positioning.
