Location: Hybrid Working (Sunderland HQ)

My client is a technology software and services provider delivering an outsourced professional services solution to the global business community. As part of their exciting growth plans, they are recruiting for an Account Manager to support their increasing client portfolio, ensuring customers get the most out of the services provided and spotting new revenue opportunities.

The Role

  • Own the client journey from sale to renewal (and beyond)
  • Build and maintain existing B2B client relationships to successfully retain accounts and realise upsell opportunities
  • Engaging with clients in a structured manner, progressing opportunities as they present
  • Consultatively build relationships
  • Uncover client’s business challenges and identify relevant business opportunities
  • Efficiently and effectively process assigned opportunities into sales
  • Act as a ‘Voice of Authority’ for their product needs
  • Manage your own pipeline and all work activities, maintaining accurate information and up-to-date forecasts on all prospects
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

The Person

  • Demonstrable pedigree in B2B account management with a track record of achieving cross/upsell and renewal targets
  • Degree educated or equivalent is preferred, although not essential
  • Ideally from a business consulting/services, software or tech background
  • Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers and colleagues
  • Excellent telephone and online presentation skills
  • Strong desire to be part of a team that delivers our customers breakthrough results
  • Ambitious to develop their career further within the organisation
