Working on a 2 shift rotation after some initial training, the ideal person for this role must have at least 1 years’ experience of working on a powder coat or wet paint plant (manufacturing not automotive).
Duties:
- Selecting paint from stock and preparing both the spray booth and paint guns for each new job
- Performing frequent change overs of colour
- Spraying parts of various size and ensuring paint thickness and gloss levels are correct on finished product
- Occasionally may be required to jig up parts ready to paint
- Masking parts from drawing detail
- Packing finished parts and general housekeeping duties as and when required
Required knowledge, skills or experience:
- Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential
- The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 10
- The individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance

- Hours of work: 2 shift rotation: Mon - Thurs: 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Friday: 12:30pm to 7:00pm; Mon - Thurs: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Friday: 6:00am to 12:30 pm
- Rate of Pay: £14.65 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.5 of day rate Mon - Sat, 2.0 of day rate for Sunday
