Durham University is looking to appoint a temporary administrator to their team at Van Mildert College for a period of 4 weeks.
The postholder will join the College Office team, working directly with the College Master, including providing confidential administrative support, as well as with the two other College Officers and other staff. They will engage with students and other members of the College as well as external stakeholders, providing efficient administrative support for a broad range of College activities.
Typical Duties for this fully onsite role will include:
Responding to stakeholder queries, providing advice and problem solving to meet requirements
Plan and monitor work activities and information to ensure objectives are met
Work with team members to ensure an appropriate service is provided, suggesting and making improvements as appropriate
Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an effective service
Update data and produce reports, carrying out research and analysis as required
Organise meetings and events, disseminating necessary information.
