Warehouse/Forklift Operative

We are recruiting for a Warehouse/Forklift Driver Operative. Objective of Role: Overseeing the operations of two warehouses with main responsibilities related to the receipt, storage and despatch of product. Main Responsibilities: * Goods inwards for stock and custom items – small parcels and pallets * Taking responsibility for checking and storage of incoming stock * Responsible for the timely preparation of deliveries to our clients * Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all employees * Work closely with Operations and Warehouse Managers * At all times be aware and action the relevant health and safety requirements * Always keep the warehouses and surrounding area tidy and presentable * Other responsibilities as and when would be required within the organisation Skills & Qualifications * Experienced in manual handling and have knowledge of working in warehouse * Forklift licence is essential to fulfil warehouse day-to-day responsibilities * Handling of various paperwork and other warehouse administrative duties * Good communication skills and concise in delivering instructions * Capable of managing and adapting to changing priority workloads * Positive, proactive, reactive and a very dependable team player * Good understanding of the need to deliver good customer service * Experience in working on computers / Microsoft Office would be ideal Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (times may be flexible)
