Our client is a well-established company specialising in environmental control and moisture protection solutions. Operating to ISO 9001 quality standards, the business is recognised for its strong commitment to quality assurance across both design and manufacturing processes. They are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stores & Quality Coordinator to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with previous stores, warehouse, or inventory experience who also has exposure to quality procedures and ideally ISO 9001 standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Booking goods in and out using the company’s Orderwise system
  • Picking and preparing orders from BOM (Bill of Materials) lists
  • Checking deliveries against purchase orders for accuracy and quantity
  • Carrying out visual inspections and ensuring supporting documentation is correct
  • Managing stock movement and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Supporting quality assurance procedures within the stores environment
  • Liaising with suppliers and handling UK and international shipments
  • Operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, inventory, or logistics role
  • Understanding of quality procedures, ideally ISO 9001
  • Strong computer literacy, including:
    • Microsoft Word
    • Excel
    • Outlook
    • Experience with Orderwise or similar ERP systems preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer service experience beneficial
  • Valid Reach Truck forklift licence required
  • Valid Counterbalance forklift licence required

Working Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 12:30pm
