We are looking for a Quality Stores Assistant for a company that specialises in environmental control and moisture protection solutions and holds ISO 9001 quality approval. The company has a focus on quality assurance within its design and manufacturing processes and is looking for someone with quality and ideally ISO 9001 experience.

The main duties are booking in and out parts from suppliers and picking orders from the stores based on a BOM list. The role is computer-based on a system called Orderwise, which is the main software. Goods are booked in against purchase orders and checking the quantity, documents, and some visual inspections. Ideal for someone with experience in a stores role.

  • Someone with REACH forklift truck experience and license and also a counterbalance would be ideal.
  • Must have computer experience as it is heavily based on PC with Orderwise software.
  • Dealing with the UK and worldwide.

Skills and requirements:

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience in stores/picking
  • Must have Forklift Reach Truck
  • Must have Forklift Counterbalance
  • Good attention to detail

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. 8-5 Monday to Thursday and 8-12:30 on a Friday.
