We are looking for a Part Time receptionist to provide a full receptionist role and to provide additional support to the Office Manager when required.
Main Tasks:
- Meet and greet customers ensuring their details are recorded in our visitor’s book and that they are informed of relevant Health & Safety procedures and any company policies as required.
- To function as a source of information point for visitors.
- Receive, sort and distribute incoming post.
- Manage switchboard, transfer phone calls and take and pass on messages efficiently and in a professional manner.
- Input information on systems as required.
- Make announcements as required.
- Scanning and printing for customers.
- Conduct a range of ad-hoc office duties for the Office Manager.
Specification:
- Previous experience of working in a reception environment.
- IT skills - proficient in use of Outlook, Word and Excel, ability to input data including financial on to a system.
- Excellent communication skills for both verbal face to face and over the phone interactions.
- Can word emails and letters.
- Strong customer services and people skills.
- Smart and presentable – to give good company image.
- The ability to use your own initiative and have beneficial use of common sense.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum GCSE’s English and Math’s (or equivalent).
- High School Education or equivalent attained outside of the UK.
Essential skills:
- Good/confident command of the English language.
- Excellent organisational skills, telephone skills and a professional customer service manner.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to work to deadlines and under pressure when needed.
Working Hours: 8am to 12.30pm Monday to Friday.
