We are recruiting for a Part Time Credit Controller to ensure the company's financial records are accurate. To provide assistance in the department wherever needed as directed by the Manager.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks:
- To manage accounts that have been put on stop daily.
- Send copy invoices when required.
- Checking customer’s credit allowance, based on business standards.
- Make sure all information on the Customer’s Account is up to date.
- Negotiate payment plans and set up terms and conditions, with Director’s approval.
- Ensuring customers pay on time by maintaining accurate records and reports.
- To deal with refunds.
- Monitor daily emails & answer any queries.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum GCSE’s English and Maths (or equivalent).
- High School Education or equivalent attained outside of the UK.
Essential Skills:
- Good/confident command of the English language.
- Excellent customer service with exceptional verbal communication with persistence and determination.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Analytical skills and thorough diligence.
- The ability to listen and negotiate with customers.
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining good communication with the rest of the team.
Desired Skills:
- The ability to use your own initiative and have good use of common sense.
- Someone keen to share ideas to help the department run more smoothly and/or improve moving forward.
Working Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible between 8am to 5.30pm)
Salary: £30k Pro Rata
