Position Summary

Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman is seeking a full‑charge Bookkeeper with ideally entertainment/touring experience to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position will be based from our London office on a full‑time basis, with potential for hybrid working following a 3‑month probation. The Bookkeeper is responsible for computing, classifying, and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records of assigned client are accurate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Raising sales invoices
  • Maintaining QuickBooks online ledgers and electronic filing system in Teams
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform credit card and bank reconciliations
  • Posting petty cash and tour manager floats
  • Creating payment packs online ready for manager approvals
  • Posting directors expense claims
  • Posting and reconciling intercompany accounts on QuickBooks online in local currencies
  • Revaluating foreign currency balances at month end
  • Generally assisting account managers as directed including:
    • In preparing of VAT return packs
    • Assisting with preparation of tour accounts
    • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
    • Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts
    • Assisting with gathering information with personal and corporate tax returns
  • Any other duties as required by your line manager or senior team which are proportionate to your level and remit.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a bookkeeping position ideally within a business management firm
  • General accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills (in person, on the phone, and via email)
  • Sense of urgency
  • Keen eye for details
  • Ability to quickly shift gears without losing focus
  • Solid interpersonal skills and other key soft skills (i.e., communication, time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, critical‑thinking, etc.)
  • Experience with QuickBooks is highly

Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
