The Gelder Group is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic. Applicants must have a minimum Level 2 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair. This role would be based in our modern workshop in Sturton by Stow, Lincoln. This rewarding role would suit someone who is highly motivated, organised and conscientious and works well in a team environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Routine scheduled servicing of cars and vans in compliance to manufacture’s guidelines
- General repairs and maintenance
- Confident in using Vehicle Diagnostic equipment to fault find
- Keeping workshop and surrounding areas clean and tidy
- Completing paperwork thoroughly
- Full UK driving licence
- Smart and punctual
- Excellent communicator: able to understand instructions and communicate effectively
- Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to strict timescales
- Comply with company H&S policy
- Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
