The Role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a high-performing TA team at an exciting point in Gelato's growth. This is a genuinely hands-on, full-cycle recruiting role with real breadth and ownership. You will run the entire hiring process yourself, from the first sourcing search through to offer close, across a wide range of functions including GTM, Marketing, Corporate, Operations, Product, and more. You will be hiring globally, with a primary focus on Europe and the US. You will work directly with senior stakeholders across the business, owning your requisition load completely and contributing to how our TA function operates and scales. We are a lean team, which means more ownership, more visibility, and more direct impact than you would find in a larger function. We are a team that thinks carefully about how we work smarter. We use tooling thoughtfully, building processes that scale. We are genuinely curious about how AI is changing the way great recruiting gets done and are looking for someone who shares that curiosity, has a natural instinct to improve and automate, and gets excited about building better ways of working rather than waiting for someone else to do it. Gelato is a global tech unicorn on a mission to change an entire industry, making production smarter and more sustainable. This person will help to build the team that makes this happen. We’ve taken many steps, but our journey is just beginning!
What you will be doing
- Own end-to-end recruitment: from sourcing strategy and outreach to assessment, stakeholder management, and closing
- Hire across functions and levels, with focus on GTM, Marketing, Corporate, Operations, and Product
- Source and engage talent globally, with focus on Europe and the US
- Build strong pipelines through direct sourcing, creative channels, and relationship building
- Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers on role design, assessment, and market insights
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience at every stage
- Contribute to team operations, including ATS ownership and process improvements
- Build and leverage AI, automation, and agentic networks to improve efficiency and scalability
- Take on strategic projects to evolve the TA function and broader People initiatives
What we are looking for
- You have a start-up mentality, incredible stamina, discipline, resilience, and grit. You're a doer. You change until you win. You feel comfortable getting your hands dirty while never losing sight of long-term ambition.
- You are confident in your abilities and experience, yet humble and curious in your execution.
- 4+ years of solid full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally with some exposure to GTM or commercial hiring.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices across sourcing, assessment, and selection, with the ability to apply the right approach for the right role.
- Experience hiring within a scaling B2B or SaaS environment, with an understanding of the pace, ambiguity, and commercial urgency that comes with it.
- Hands-on experience with recruitment technologies including ATS platforms, assessment tools, and a genuine interest in getting the most out of them.
- A natural curiosity about how things work and how they could work better, and a genuine desire to build that muscle in the context of AI and recruiting.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to build relationships at all levels, advise, challenge, and set expectations with hiring managers.
- Self-directed and detail-oriented, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and problem-solve without needing to be told what to do.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Genuinely motivated by Gelato's mission and excited about being part of a team that is building something that matters.
