Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve Gelato's Internal Developer Platform as a product — designing golden paths and self-service capabilities for engineering teams.
- Manage and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS primary), including Kubernetes, networking, and FinOps.
- Deliver and maintain CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Helm, CircleCI), GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Ensure platform reliability through on-call support, incident response, and observability.
- Build and operate AI agents and LLM-driven automation as a core part of platform operations.
Requirements:
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, IAM, VPC, S3, networking) and Kubernetes internals.
- Strong IaC skills (Terraform) and GitOps experience (ArgoCD).
- Solid Linux fundamentals and cloud-native troubleshooting ability.
- AI-native engineering mindset — you use AI agents and LLM tools daily as your core workflow.
Good to have:
- Experience with GCP or multi-cloud strategies.
- Ability to read, write, and review code — leveraging AI tools to move fast across stacks.
- Familiarity with developer platform tooling (Backstage, service catalogs).
- Experience with shift-left security or policy-as-code practices.
- Hands-on experience building agentic systems for infrastructure automation.
