Role Outline
You’ll work on the fabrication of custom components, assemblies, and structures that directly support water treatment, pumping systems, and other critical assets. No two jobs are the same – expect variety, challenge, and the chance to be part of a team that’s driving innovation in the engineering space.
Responsibilities
- High standard of welding of pipework, support structures and associated parts.
- Complete works as directed by site supervisors and managers.
- Carrying out a variety of fabrication works, assembly of mechanical equipment, and fixtures.
Requirements
- Working knowledge pipework, platforms and fabrication using steel.
- TIG/MIG/MMA welding desirable.
- Ability to cut and prepare materials before welding and read manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge/experience using various fabrication techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hard working and conscientious.
- Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and work part of a team.
- Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
