You will pro-actively support the development of a centre of excellence for Professional Project Management Services and deliver beyond expectations to impress customers whilst achieving financial objectives.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\n- Identify and develop new opportunities for projects through business relationships.\\n\\n- Responsible for drafting the customer offer based on the best solution for the customer with known limitations and requirements.\\n\\n- Manage the projects end to end activity with full responsibility for P&L results.\\n\\n- Have ownership of multiple projects and report variance of budgeted vs. actual schedule and financials.\\n\\n- Clearly define the project scope and always maintain control using company project processes and procedures.\\n\\n- Provide the highest standard of Health and Safety by supervision, good management practices, inspections and monitoring.\\n\\n- Conduct site inspections and write risk assessments as required.\\n\\n- Obtain the relevant TWOSA, TCOP and permits to work on behalf of the business.\\n\\n- Point of contact for engineers and technicians daily regarding both the contract and technical queries.\\n\\n- Incorporate the Gel Mission, Vision and Values into every day.\\n\\n- Always Update Senior Management when delivering multiple projects.\\n\\n- Management of supplier deliveries and ordering.\\n\\n- Carry out and record toolbox and safety talks and alerts and complete site inspections and diaries.\\n\\n- Conduct accident investigations to both Company and Client time scales and report all incidents to MD.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n- Working knowledge of on-site project engineering projects – ideally in water industry but not essential.\\n\\n- Capability to define and clarify project scope.\\n\\n- Capability to develop project schedule and plan.\\n\\n- Engineering qualifications\\n\\n- HND – essential\\n\\n- Beng – preferred\\n\\n- BSC – preferred\\n\\n- PRINCE2 Practitioner.\\n\\n- Strong analytical skills.\\n\\n- Ability to motivate team.\\n\\n- Strong commercial acumen.\\n\\n- UK Driving Licence\\n\\n- Right to Work in the UK on permanent basis\\n\\nBy aligning with GEL Engineering, not only will you embrace a secure and rewarding career in the ever-growing water industry, but you also contribute to shaping a sustainable future.
