Join Our Dynamic Team as a Civil or Mechanical Graduate Engineer at Gel Engineering!

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for engineering and a desire to make a real impact? Gel Engineering offers exciting opportunities for talented individuals to kickstart their careers in the water and wastewater industry. We are seeking Civil and Mechanical Graduate Engineers to work within the following areas:

  • West & Southwest London.
  • Harlow
  • East Hyde
  • Aylesbury
  • Oxford
  • Swindon
  • Stroud

What you would be doing as a Graduate Engineer:

  • Provide the highest standard of Health and Safety by supervision, good management practices, inspections, and monitoring.
  • Conduct site inspections and write risk assessments as required.
  • Liaise with procurement for the purchasing of materials, parts, and labour.
  • Assist the Project Manager with the delivery of project work.
  • Obtain the relevant permits to work on behalf of the business as and when required.
  • Prepare risk assessments and method statements as required (RAMS).
  • Prepare handover files and reports for customers, as required.

What you should bring to the role:

  • Working knowledge of on-site engineering projects.
  • Experience with on-site engineering environment (preferred but not essential).
  • Previous experience in the water industry (preferred but not essential).
  • Capability to define and clarify project scope.
  • Capability to develop project schedule and plan.
  • BEng or BSc in Mechanical or Civil Engineering – Preferred.
