Join our team as a Fitters Mate and become a vital support system for our Mechanical Fitters. You'll be hands-on, assisting with the practical aspects of mechanical work, including installation, repairs, and ensuring smooth service operations. What you will be doing as a Fitters Mate: · Complete works as directed by site supervisors and project managers. · Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment and installations. · Complete Point of Work Risk Assessments · Ensure clear understanding of Risk Assessment and Method Statements. What you will bring to the role: · Hold a CSCS or equivalent. · Experience working in an on-site engineering environment. · Strong communication skills. · A hardworking and conscious approach. · Self-Motivation and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. · Previous experience in working in the water industry (desirable).
