The successful candidate will work across real client accounts, high-visibility campaigns, in-house brand development, and forward-thinking AI-led projects. About the Role
We are looking for someone organised, confident with digital tools, and committed to producing high-quality work across SEO, content, social media, and day-to-day campaign delivery. You will follow established internal processes while contributing to a high-performing operations workflow that supports both agency and client activity. In addition to the agency responsibilities you will also support one of our consumer-focused internal brands, a fast-growing hospitality and tourism platform operating within the dog-friendly sector. This involves producing content centred on dogs and dog-friendly businesses, engaging with partners and audiences, and contributing to a brand with a strong social presence and monthly reach in the thousands.

Key Responsibilities
- SEO & Content Delivery
- Produce monthly SEO blog content for client and agency brands.
- Follow internal frameworks for research, optimisation, formatting, and upload.
- Maintain content calendars and manage approval processes.
- Carry out light on-page optimisation including headings, meta data, internal links, and schema.
- Website Updates
- Update copy, create new pages, upload media, and support page layout changes.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all client and internal websites.
- Social Media Management
- Build monthly content calendars for social clients and in-house brands.
- Draft captions, source and organise assets, and schedule content.
- Use performance insights to guide posting times and themes.
- Support basic engagement monitoring.
- Press & Outreach
- Assist with press release preparation for agency and client announcements.
- Maintain distribution lists and support pitching to journalists.
- Track coverage and manage press asset storage.
- Google Business Profile
- Prepare and publish GBP posts for clients and agency brands.
- Ensure all listing information remains accurate and aligned with campaigns.
- Email Marketing
- Support production of monthly newsletters for GEKKOSHOT and GEKKO1.
- Assist with copy, layout, segmentation, and brand alignment.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor trends, content performance, and search behaviour.
- Compile analytics for internal reporting using GA4, Search Console, social insights, and scheduling tools.
- Paid Search
- Assist with keyword research, ad copy creation, and simple optimisation tasks.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, designers, developers, and SEO leads.
- Support project delivery to ensure deadlines and standards are met.
Skills & Experience
- Strong writing ability with an interest in SEO and digital content.
- Comfortable working within structured internal workflows.
- Familiarity with social scheduling tools, and basic CMS platforms (WordPress).
- Ability to manage several clients, tasks, and deadlines at once.
- Basic design skills (e.g. Canva) are helpful.
- Agency experience is beneficial but not required.
