Gekko has an exciting opportunity as an Area Sales Manager (aka: Market Manager) for one of our global clients. We are seeking a sales driven and highly motivated individual to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our client. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and training retail teams to surprise and delight customers across your given region.
If you excel at building deep brand advocacy to drive sales, can effectively train retail store advisors, manage in-store specialists, and transform high end tech products into engaging customer demonstrations, we want to hear from you.
Your Package
- Salary: £32,000 per annum
- Performance bonus: up to 10%
- Full‑time contract until the end of March 2027 (Wed – Sun)
- 22 days holiday in addition to bank holidays + buy and sell holiday options

Key Responsibilities
- Foster and nurture relationships with retailers at all levels to drive sales through exceptional brand loyalty and product knowledge.
- Partner with retailers to pinpoint needs and implement initiatives that boost sales while amplifying brand impact.
- Create and develop plans to improve the brand experience and the journey for every customer.
- Develop and execute captivating training sessions and workshops for group settings and one‑on‑one environments.
- Manage a small team of promoters within the region to help achieve agreed sales targets.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in retail management, specifically in technology, high‑end retail, or wearables sectors.
- Solid understanding of the sales journey and ability to retain product knowledge for engagement.
- Analytical approach to ensure sales targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Experience building and influencing senior‑level relationships to create and execute strategic go‑to‑market initiatives that drive sales results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading a team or a supervisory role.
- Full UK driving licence.

Field based covering the South West region of the UK, ideally based in the Bath or Bristol area.
