Gekko are recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager (aka Regional Market Manager) to work on behalf of our global computing brand, employed and managed by Gekko. You will coach and support your team of Market Managers and in-store Sales Specialists, working with the National Sales Manager, to lead, motivate, and excel in driving sales and increasing brand advocacy. You will support your regional team in achieving agreed objectives and key results by building and maintaining strong partner relationships, monitoring the retail landscape, driving sell‐out, and enhancing the consumer journey through comprehensive training and customer experience knowledge.
Ideal candidates for this position will have a background in sales and team management, alongside an interest in technology or a comprehension of the retail landscape, including omnichannel strategies. Experience in highlighting business development opportunities via relationships, insight and proactive strategic thinking is advantageous but not essential.
Your Package
- A salary of £38,000 per annum plus 10% bonus
- Full time, 12 month contract (Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend requirements)

Your Role
- Lead and inspire a team of Market Managers and Sales Specialists to achieve sales and brand advocacy targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Weekly collation of regional feedback and insights, including the determination of necessary actions and solutions.
- Develop and execute plans in alignment with our sales and partner marketing strategies.
- Ensure brand standards and display fixtures are maintained to a high standard in your region.
- Reporting based on regional and national output from the retail and field teams.
- Overseeing the implementation of the strategic brand vision in your region by attending and contributing to events and creating opportunities to see and experience.
- Owning the regional and national targets, driving sell‐out.

The Regional Market Manager role will be perfect for you if you:
- A deep understanding of the consumer electronics retail environment is required, especially in the computing sector.
- Revenue generation through effective sales team leadership and management.
- Training engagement on sales or products in both 1:1 and group situations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels, including senior management, and to influence key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage team performance, sales, and development with an analytical focus.
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken).
- Have a full UK driving licence.
This position offers a 12-month contract and is field-based covering a given region (Scotland, North East and North West of the UK - ideal candidates would be based in the Leeds, Liverpool or Newcastle area) with nationwide travel and weekend working on a rotational basis (a minimum of 1 in every 4 weeks to support weekend sales teams, along with flexibility on key trading dates, such as bank holidays).
