Built for people already operating in the waste supply chain. If you’re currently working within waste services, you’ll recognise the pattern:
- Constant price chasing
- Slow subcontractor responses
- Limited control over outcomes
- Always reacting, rarely driving
If that’s wearing thin, this is your opportunity to step up. At Gegan Environmental Management, we don’t just move waste. We operate as a waste partner and consultant, actively managing supply chains, challenging the norm, and delivering better commercial outcomes for our clients.
This isn’t admin, and it’s not about sending emails and waiting. You’ll sit at the centre of our commercial and supply function, directly influencing:
- Pricing turnaround times
- Supplier performance
- Margin
- Client service delivery
You’ll be expected to take ownership, push suppliers, and make things happen.
What you’ll be doing:
- Securing fast, accurate pricing across haulage, disposal, and recycling
- Managing and strengthening supplier relationships, holding them accountable
- Supporting the commercial team with competitive, winnable pricing
- Coordinating waste movements and service delivery
- Identifying alternative routes and outlets quickly
- Driving cost, efficiency, and margin improvements
Who this suits:
- Currently working within waste services/resource management/supply chain roles
- Experienced in subcontractor pricing, collections, and coordination
- Frustrated with slow systems and lack of control
- Commercially aware, understands margin, not just process
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working at pace
