Grosvenor is looking for a passionate and skilled Fire Electrician to join our team based in Newcastle. As partners to leading property portfolios across Australia & New Zealand, our core technical services across Fire and Electrical achieve real outcomes and long-term value for clients. The Role:
- Your trade qualification – Cert III in Electrotechnology and Full electrical licence
- Experience within the fire industry essential
- Hands on experience with repairs, emergency breakdowns, maintenance and installations with all major fire & EWIS brands within a commercial space
- Fault finding and troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades
- Competency in programming fire panels is beneficial with a keen interest for further development of new skills
- Proven ability to work well with others
- Current OHS/WHS Construction induction card and Current Driver’s licence
- Understanding of relevant Australian Standards and BCA
- Confidence with computers and software
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, professional attitude and great personal presentation
- Curiosity – someone who enjoys autonomy as well as working within a team, and a proactive self-starter
- Proven ability to achieve targets while maintaining focus on quality and safety
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Provide maintenance, service and repairs on fire and electrical equipment across a range of commercial sites including High Rise, Office Parks, Retail, Aged Care, Health and Defense.
- Work across a range of electrical systems including fire electrical and smoke exhaust systems where required.
- Attend breakdowns and provide installations when needed.
- Ensure the continuation of existing service contracts whilst capitalizing on repairs, refurbs and new business opportunities.
- Work with a team of professional Electricians to provide top notch service to our client base.
