About Geeky Tech:
Geeky Tech is more than a search agency — we’re a global team of digital experts delivering powerful SEO, paid media, and AI‑driven search strategies for B2B technology companies. Born from a group of freelancers, we’ve built a culture of freedom, flexibility, and collaboration. Our remote‑first approach enables us to deliver world‑class results without borders. We combine technical excellence with creative strategy to push the boundaries of digital optimisation — and we’re now building tools to help businesses thrive in the era of AI search and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
Role Overview:
As an AI‑Native Full Stack Developer, you’ll build and ship features across our B2B SaaS platform — a toolset helping businesses optimise their visibility in AI‑powered search engines. This isn’t a traditional developer role. We work AI‑first: Claude, Cursor, and Copilot are part of our daily toolkit. You’ll use AI to accelerate delivery and your solid engineering fundamentals to ensure what ships actually works. You’ll start by delivering tasks with support from the CIO, grow into owning features end‑to‑end, and eventually take on architectural decisions as the team scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build & Ship: Develop features across the full stack using Python (FastAPI) and React (TypeScript). Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) for code generation, debugging, and documentation — then validate and refine the output. Write clean, maintainable code that other humans (and AI) can understand. Ship iteratively — we value working software over perfect plans.
- Product & Problem‑Solving: Translate product requirements into technical solutions. Make smart decisions about implementation — knowing when to build, when to use a library, and when to ask AI. Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and technical debt. Contribute ideas for new features and platform improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CIO and wider Geeky Tech team to align development with business goals. Communicate progress, blockers, and decisions clearly through our project management tools. Share knowledge and contribute to improving our development processes.
- Quality & Reliability: Write and maintain tests to keep the platform stable. Review AI‑generated code critically — understanding why it works, not just that it works. Monitor deployed features and respond to issues promptly.
Key Relationships:
- Reports To: CIO
- Collaborates With: SEO and Paid Media teams to understand client needs and platform requirements; Future development hires as the team grows.
Performance Metrics:
- Feature delivery speed and quality
- Platform stability and bug resolution time
- Code quality and maintainability
- Effective use of AI tools to multiply output
- Communication and collaboration within the team
Qualifications:
Essential:
- 2–5 years of professional development experience across backend and frontend
- Solid programming fundamentals — you understand why code works, not just how to prompt AI to write it
- Active use of AI development tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, or similar) in your workflow
- Experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript in production environments
- Comfortable working with APIs, databases, and web applications
- Strong written communication — we’re remote‑first and async-heavy
- Self‑motivated and able to manage your own time effectively
Nice‑to‑Have:
- Experience with FastAPI, React, or both
- You’ve built and shipped a side project or product using AI‑assisted development
- Understanding of SaaS platforms and B2B products
- Familiarity with SEO, search, or marketing technology
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment
- You can reason about system design and make architectural trade‑offs
What We Don’t Care About:
- Whether you can whiteboard algorithms from memory
- How many years of a specific framework you have on paper
- Your ability to write code without any tools or references
Why Join Geeky Tech:
- Fully remote & flexible hours
- 31 Days Holiday + Birthday Off
