Starting at £13.50 per hour with 25 hours per week (with the potential to increase hours/wage after probationary period) Job Role: Do you have a passion for working with children and young people, to make a difference in their lives? Do you want to help them to create their future, develop their life and build their social skills? Do you empathise with children and young people who find it challenging to engage in mainstream provisions? At Geeks Room, we are looking for people who are dedicated to helping individuals (particularly those with SEND and SEMH) learn, socialise and feel included within our community. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Collaborating with the Management team to plan, prepare and develop resources and content to reach our objectives, Supporting the management and development of a growing team, Ensuring the engagement of our students and that their needs are met, Monitoring student’s progress and wellbeing, Answering and making of calls and emails, in terms of admin, student support, and other Alongside this role, the candidate will be part of the mentoring team within Geeks Room and work with children, young people and young adults, of all abilities and capabilities.
