Location: Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester (On-site) gee is a premium hair extension brand trusted by iconic women including Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson and Eva Longoria.

Our mission is to help women feel like the most confident version of themselves through exceptional products and content.

We're a founder-led brand entering an exciting period of growth, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Content & Social Executive to join our team.

The Role

This is a senior content leadership role.

Working directly with the Founder and wider creative team, you'll oversee the day-to-day execution of our content, ensuring every campaign, shoot and piece of content meets gee's premium standards.

You'll lead content production, direct shoots, oversee the wider content team and become the Founder's trusted second pair of eyes.

While the Founder sets the overall creative direction, you'll help bring it to life by contributing ideas, maintaining quality and ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

This isn't a role for someone who needs constant direction. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks ahead and naturally raises the standard of the work around them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of all content shoots.
  • Direct photographers, videographers, models and the wider creative team.
  • Write, review and approve shoot plans, content calendars and creative assets.
  • Oversee day-to-day content production and ensure projects stay on track.
  • Review and approve content across social media, website, email and paid advertising.
  • Oversee our UGC programme from creator selection through to final approval.
  • Refine video edits and maintain exceptional creative standards.
  • Continuously improve workflows using AI and efficient content systems.
  • Contribute creative ideas that strengthen campaigns and content.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience creating content for a premium beauty, fashion, hair or luxury brand.
  • Experience planning and directing professional content shoots.
  • Exceptional creative judgement with a strong eye for premium aesthetics.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong experience using Final Cut Pro, Cap Cut and Canva.
  • Experience managing UGC creators.
  • Confident using AI to improve creativity and efficiency.
  • A natural leader who takes ownership and enjoys raising standards.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • Based within approximately 30 minutes of Cheadle Hulme.

About You

You notice the details others miss.

You're organised, proactive and take complete ownership of your work. You think ahead, solve problems independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You're someone the Founder can trust to maintain exceptional creative standards and keep the content department running smoothly with minimal direction.

A Note from the Founder

We're a small but ambitious team, so every person has a real impact.

I'm looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership and become my trusted second pair of eyes on all things content as I focus on growing the business.

The final salary will reflect your experience, creative ability and the level of responsibility you're able to take on from day one.

As gee continues to grow, there will be genuine opportunities for progression.

Interview Process

Shortlisted candidates will complete a practical task, followed by a short paid trial.

How to Apply

Please send your CV, portfolio and examples of content you've planned, produced or directed to partnerships@geehair. com .
