We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of equipment onsite. The successful candidate will carry out routine maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and deliver effective solutions to keep our systems and equipment performing reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and carry out regular maintenance schedules for equipment. Clean equipment such as CCTV, CIS, HP, Cabinets, PA & Speakers. Inspect and test machinery and systems to identify and prevent potential issues.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair equipment as required.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Prepare and submit reports on equipment performance and maintenance status.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other departments to support smooth operations. Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance staff when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: GCSE grades or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance engineer within manufacturing, industrial, or facilities management (1 year preferred).
- Technical Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair equipment; computer‑literate.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem‑solving capabilities.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all maintenance tasks.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Organisation: Strong time‑management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Health & Safety: Solid understanding of regulations and safe working practices.
