We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong CCTV systems knowledge and valid PTS certification to join our team.
Key Responsibilities Of The Network Engineer:
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure
- CCTV system installation, integration, and fault finding
- Ensuring network security, reliability, and performance
- Working safely in rail/trackside or PTS-required environments
- Working away from home as required (including overnight stays)
- Night work as required, including planned and reactive works
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting on site
Requirements Of The Network Engineer:
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer
- Strong IP networking knowledge (switches, routers, VLANs, firewalls)
- Hands-on experience with CCTV systems (IP & analogue)
- Valid PTS certification (mandatory)
- Willingness to work away and undertake night shifts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Desirable:
- Rail or infrastructure project experience
- Relevant networking certifications (Cisco, CompTIA, etc.)
- Supervisor with SSSTS
