We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong CCTV systems knowledge and valid PTS certification to join our team.

Key Responsibilities Of The Network Engineer:

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure
  • CCTV system installation, integration, and fault finding
  • Ensuring network security, reliability, and performance
  • Working safely in rail/trackside or PTS-required environments
  • Working away from home as required (including overnight stays)
  • Night work as required, including planned and reactive works
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting on site

Requirements Of The Network Engineer:

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer
  • Strong IP networking knowledge (switches, routers, VLANs, firewalls)
  • Hands-on experience with CCTV systems (IP & analogue)
  • Valid PTS certification (mandatory)
  • Willingness to work away and undertake night shifts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Desirable:

  • Rail or infrastructure project experience
  • Relevant networking certifications (Cisco, CompTIA, etc.)
  • Supervisor with SSSTS
