The Junior Data Analyst within the Sales and Marketing team plays a vital part in supporting data-driven decision-making, enhancing recruitment strategies, and maximising student conversion rates through actionable insights and performance reporting. A key focus will also be supporting the forecasting of future student numbers, providing valuable input for resource allocation, strategic planning, and financial forecasting across the institution. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship!
What the Role Involves:
- Collect, clean, and analyse data related to student applications, outreach initiatives, Recruitment and Marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, conversion metrics, and support future student number forecasting.
- Collaborate with recruitment officers, marketing teams, and external partners to align data insights with strategic goals.
- Assist in forecasting future student enrolment figures to support institutional planning and financial modelling.
- Work closely with finance and planning teams to align recruitment data with long term budget and resource planning needs.
- Present insights through visual reports and deliver data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
About You:
- Proven experience in a data technician, junior analyst, or similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one data visualisation tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Ability to interpret and present complex datasets in a clear, concise, and actionable format.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
