GEDU Global Education (partner of Canterbury Christ Church University) is seeking a lecturer to teach the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme across a range of undergraduate levels. This is a full‐time permanent role (40 hours per week). Sponsorship is not offered.

About the Role

You will deliver management‐related modules, develop and update course materials, assess students, and keep current with developments in your field. Flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
  • Develop, update and improve course materials.
  • Use varied teaching methods and materials.
  • Engage in staff development, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties.
  • Keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
  • Work towards clear objectives for student attendance, completion and progression.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant subject (PhD desirable).
  • Previous UK higher‐education lecturing experience in the relevant subject area.
  • Extensive knowledge of the subject matter.
  • Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.
  • Experience maintaining accurate student records.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‐working skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol during probation and complete within three years, or HEA Fellowship.
  • Experience in design/development of academic or professional education programmes.
