GEDON Executive is seeking a skilled and ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading consultancy firm in Birmingham, UK. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated professional with a consultancy background and experience in industrial projects to take a lead role on significant developments in the West Midlands.
As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you'll be instrumental in delivering expert cost and commercial advice to clients from inception to completion. You'll play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Management: Prepare and manage detailed cost plans, feasibility studies, and whole-life costing for a variety of industrial projects.
- Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts, including the valuation of variations, interim payments, and final accounts.
- Tender & Procurement: Advise on procurement strategies, prepare tender documentation, and evaluate bids.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential commercial risks and opportunities.
- Client Liaison: Liaise effectively with clients, design teams, and contractors, acting as a trusted commercial advisor.
