Senior Data Centre Cost Manager to strengthen its specialist Mission Critical team.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cost Manager looking to play a leading role on some of the UK's most significant hyperscale Data Centre developments.
Working directly with major international developers, you'll provide strategic commercial advice throughout the full project lifecycle, acting as a trusted client advisor while leading cost planning, procurement and commercial management across multiple high-value programmes.
The role offers exposure to market-leading clients, complex technical projects and a clear pathway towards Associate Director and Director level.

You'll support the commercial delivery of major hyperscale Data Centre developments across Greater London, working with some of the world's leading technology companies and international developers.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide client-side commercial leadership across major Data Centre programmes.
- Prepare and manage cost plans throughout all project stages.
- Lead procurement strategies, tender evaluations and contract recommendations.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting and cost reporting.
- Administer change management, valuations and commercial risk.
- Provide strategic commercial advice directly to clients and key stakeholders.
- Lead value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Mentor junior Cost Managers and support team development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and project teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on budget while maintaining the highest professional standards.
- Required Experience & Background
- Proven experience as a
Senior Cost Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment.
- Strong background delivering
Data Centre, Mission Critical, Commercial or major infrastructure projects .
- Experience working in a client-facing consultancy role.
- Excellent knowledge of cost planning, procurement and contract administration.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
- Chartered (MRICS or working towards chartership).
- Experience managing complex, high-value construction programmes.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Passion for delivering best-in-class commercial consultancy services.
