Operating at the senior end of the market, they are recognised for their depth of expertise and their ability to navigate complex procurement environments and high-value contract structures across multiple jurisdictions.

The business has built long-standing relationships with some of the most significant public sector clients and infrastructure owners in Ireland and across Europe. Their work spans major transport and infrastructure investments, where they are engaged from early-stage commercial strategy through to contract close, dispute resolution and programme delivery assurance. With a growing pipeline of major project appointments and an expanding European footprint, the business is at an exciting point in its development.

This is a business built on technical excellence, client trust and a culture of professional rigour. They offer a collegiate and intellectually stimulating environment where senior contributors are empowered to lead, develop client relationships, and progress into equity ownership over time.

You will join a senior leadership team working across some of Ireland's and Europe's most significant and complex infrastructure programmes. Engagements are typically of national importance — spanning transport networks, civil infrastructure and large-scale public investment — requiring the highest levels of commercial and contractual expertise.

The firm operates a collaborative, high-performance culture where senior professionals are trusted to lead client relationships, manage multidisciplinary advisory teams and drive commercial outcomes. There is a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing, technical rigour and maintaining the firm's reputation for excellence at every stage of an engagement.

You will have exposure to the full commercial and contracts lifecycle, from early procurement strategy and contract structuring through to claims management, dispute avoidance and delivery assurance. The breadth of work ensures consistent challenge and the opportunity to deepen expertise across a range of contract types and infrastructure sectors.

The firm actively supports the professional development and progression of its senior team, with a clear and structured pathway towards partnership. For the right individual, this represents not just a role, but a long-term career-defining opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of commercial, cost and contracts advisory services across major infrastructure and transport projects in Ireland and Europe.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for key client relationships, maintaining and growing long-term partnerships with public sector bodies and infrastructure owners.
  • Provide expert guidance on NEC contract administration, procurement strategy, claims and dispute resolution across complex project environments.
  • Oversee cost management and commercial strategy from early-stage planning through to final account.
  • Drive business development activity, identifying and securing new opportunities in line with the firm's growth strategy.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of commercial and contracts professionals.
  • Contribute to the firm's strategic direction, supporting the leadership team in shaping service offerings and market positioning.
  • Represent the business at industry forums, client events and professional networks to enhance reputation and build pipeline.

What You Need:

  • Minimum 20 years' experience in commercial, cost or contracts management within the infrastructure or civil engineering sectors.
  • Proven expertise with NEC contracts — including NEC3 and NEC4 — across major infrastructure and transport programmes.
  • Strong track record of senior client-facing delivery within a consultancy or advisory environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex commercial risks, claims and disputes on high-value public sector projects.
  • Established network within the Irish and/or European infrastructure market.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop multidisciplinary advisory teams.
  • Chartered status — MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

What You'll Get in Return:

This is an exceptional opportunity offering a highly competitive base salary of €150,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package befitting a senior leadership appointment. Beyond the immediate remuneration, the role offers a clearly defined and achievable pathway to partnership, providing genuine equity participation in a growing, specialist business. You will operate at the very top of your field, working on landmark programmes alongside a respected leadership team — with the autonomy, platform and support to make a lasting impact on both the business and the wider infrastructure sector.
