What They Are Looking For
They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their specialist data centre and mission-critical infrastructure team, based out of London and supporting projects across Europe. The role sits within an established commercial team and reports directly to a Senior Associate or Director, with regular interaction with regional leadership and key clients. The position has been created due to sustained growth in secured European project work. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cost management services on technically complex, high-value schemes, while also supporting the development of client relationships and internal capability within this sector.
This role will suit a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who is confident operating in client-facing environments, enjoys working across international projects, and is comfortable balancing detailed cost management with a broader advisory mindset.

Responsibilities
- Deliver full pre- and post-contract cost management services
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, and cash flow forecasts
- Manage procurement strategies and tender processes
- Administer contracts and manage commercial risk
- Produce and manage CVRs and change control processes
- Provide cost reporting and commercial advice to clients
- Support value engineering and risk mitigation strategies
- Manage interim valuations and final accounts
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and sector growth
Criteria for the Role
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience delivering cost management services on large or complex projects
- Exposure to data centres, mission-critical, or similarly complex infrastructure preferred
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing capability
- Experience working within a consultancy environment
- RICS accreditation or working toward chartership preferred
