Responsibilities
- Deliver full pre‑ and post‑contract cost management services on healthcare projects
- Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and financial reports
- Manage procurement strategies, tender processes and contractor appointments
- Administer contracts, variations and change control procedures
- Lead cost reporting, CVRs and cash flow forecasting
- Identify, manage and mitigate commercial and project risk
- Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
- Manage final account negotiations and commercial close‑out
- Act as a key client‑facing advisor and stakeholder interface
- Support and mentor junior members of the cost management team
Criteria for the Role
- Approximately 6+ years’ experience in cost consultancy or professional services
- Degree‑qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Chartered status (MRICS) preferred but not essential
- Strong commercial awareness and technical cost management capability
- Confident communicator with strong client‑facing skills
- Ability to manage workload autonomously while contributing to a wider team
