The focus of this role is the mechanical and electrical recruitment market, working with Irish and European contractors and consultancies who are delivering a broad range of construction and engineering projects. You will develop specialist knowledge of the M&E sector and build a network of both candidates and clients across this space.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Source, screen, and manage candidates across mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Build and develop relationships with clients including contractors and consultancies across Ireland
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial brief through to placement and aftercare
- Develop a strong understanding of the M&E market including key projects, trends, and talent pools
- Proactively generate new business through client engagement, referrals, and market mapping
- Maintain accurate records across the CRM and provide regular updates on pipeline activity
- Represent GEDON professionally in the market and contribute to the agency's reputation for quality
- Experience in a recruitment or sales-driven environment — M&E recruitment experience is a strong advantage
- Alternatively, a background in mechanical or electrical engineering (via qualifications or hands-on experience) with an interest in moving into recruitment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to business development
- A genuine interest in the construction and engineering sector
- Based in or willing to commute to Belfast city centre
