This post is temporary for two years. At Gedling Leisure we pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable exercise experiences that get positive results. We are looking for a hardworking, passionate, and motivated fitness advisor to join our team at Redhill Leisure Centre to inspire the local community to enjoy an active lifestyle.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to help them get the most from their workouts and give added value for their membership.
  • Advise and instruct members in the use of gym equipment.
  • Undertake personal fitness assessments for members.
  • Prepare and deliver fitness training programmes and inductions.
  • Carry out site tours for prospective new members.
  • Keep a well maintained and clean gym.
  • Cover group exercise classes as required.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of other areas of the leisure centre.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a recognised gym-based qualification and be willing to work as a part of a varied four-week rota as detailed in the Information Sheet in the documents on our jobs page.
